My mission is to Broaden and Contribute—to expand knowledge in massage and movement sciences while giving back to the profession and community that shaped me.

I am the owner of OPTML Muscular Therapy, LLC in Urbandale, IA, where I apply the OPTML framework: Observe, Palpate, Test, Mobilize, Learn—to deliver care that is both evidence informed and deeply personalized. With a BA in Movement and Exercise Science, over a decade as a licensed massage therapist, five years as an educator, and advanced certifications in manual therapy and movement assessment, I continue to broaden both my own understanding and the capacity of those I teach.

What sets me apart is my passion for integrating the art and science of massage therapy through education, collaboration, and evidence informed practice. I refine traditional massage sequencing by incorporating assessment, strategic positioning, and principles of training and conditioning, making treatments more client centered and functionally relevant.

Beyond my practice, I stay actively involved in the profession as a board member with AMTA Iowa, where I contribute ideas, support initiatives, and work alongside colleagues who share the goal of moving massage therapy forward. This work allows me to not only serve clients directly, but also give back to the field and help shape its future.
